Washington University, est. 2013St. Louis, Missouri

Apply / Cohort 13 opens August 2026

Apply to build something doctors actually need.

The Sling Health STL application is open to all Washington University students and residents (undergrad through postdoc), across every school.

What we expect

The four things every cohort member commits to.

01

Commit nine months

The cohort runs September through May, ending at Demo Day. One team, one problem, the full academic year.

02

Bring your discipline

Engineering, medicine, business, design. Every team deliberately mixes all four, so you contribute the one you know best.

03

Build, don't just discuss

By Demo Day every team has a working prototype, a clinical validation plan, and a pitch.

04

Be coachable

You'll get blunt feedback from clinicians, alumni founders, and VCs. The fastest teams listen.

Application form

Three questions stand between you and the cohort.

Sign in with your email, tell us your background, what you bring to a team, and the problems you want to work on, and you’re in the review queue. The exec board reads every application and follows up by email. One application per cohort.
